Much better
This picture was from Christmas in Philly. I don't know if you can see.....but my child has almost an entire can of mousse in his hair. Yeah....that is what happens when I go to the store for 10 minutes and Uncle Jared (Jerry) is in charge. Also, Jack didn't learn how to stick out his tongue until that day. Nice, Uncle Jerry.....Jack--of course--LOVED it.
Apparently, this time last year...Jack had no hair. Where was I?? Why do I not remember these things??
Therefore moms---everything is a phase. This, too, shall pass.

Can't take it
Well, this picture was from last summer. I finally downloaded my phone pics onto our PC. I just thought it was too cute.
I just CANNOT take the rain...how can people possibly live in Seattle?? I was there and it really does rain everyday!!
Conclusion: I am and always will be solar-powered. That's right. If there is no sun....I will be forced to go tanning. Well, we'll see. They say it will be sunny this afternoon...we'll see. (I think Jack is solar-powered as well......he is just the sleeping machine!!---no complaints here.)

60 years.....where will you be??
These fine folks are Andrew's grandparents---Larry's parents. This past Sunday, they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary! (actually I think it was technically on the 7th, but we had the party on Sunday in Rolla). This picture was actually taken one year ago when they came to visit.
60 years.....wow.....I have only been married a little over 3 years and that has been exciting enough!!
It is just crazy how quickly time passes. I know....I know....my parents always say that....but really, once you have a baby, everything just melts together. Therefore, you must enjoy EVERY minute of it, learn to be more flexible, and file your digital pictures on your PC and make sure you put the DATE....and names, etc.
****note--we did get a video of the little Jackster performing his torpedos in swim class. Stay tuned for the footage.

Old and New
I really like going through the old pics.....technically the one where Jack is shirtless was on 3-30 last year---it was just too cute!!
The other picture is right before swimming. (Jack is holding his new singing helicopter from Grammie---Andrew's mom)....aahhh swimming--how does it always fall on snow-storm day??? Well, we were smart today--thursday---we, as in Cora, Lena, Jack, and myself, went for a pre-swim swim. (sorry that looks incorrect, but you get the idea). Since the Jackster and I have been on the East Coast, we missed two Fridays, but only one lesson....why??--because of the SNOW. Isn't it springtime yet?
Anywho.....swim update. I believe we are caught up from the week we missed. Jack can now be completely dunked and I let go of him for about two seconds and he kicks his little legs to the top. It is the CUTEST thing I have ever seen. I was afraid he would scream because I literally do not hold him for a couple of seconds---it sounds worse than it really is---it is just crazy how they automatically just start kicking to the top!
If we don't get snowed out tomorrow, I believe we will get this on video....so all the grandparents can see the fun.
